VDOT TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING ON FAIRGROUND ROAD (ROUTE 632) INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS IN GOOCHLAND
Public invited to learn more about the proposed intersection improvements on April 18
SOUTH CHESTERFIELD—The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a public hearing on an intersection improvements project proposed for Fairground Road (Route 632) at Sandy Hook Road (Route 522) in Goochland County. The project includes construction of a single-lane roundabout, added turn lanes and sidewalks.
The meeting will be held on Thursday, April 18 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Goochland County Administration Building, located at 1800 Sandy Hook Road, Goochland, VA 23063. This meeting will provide an opportunity for individuals, businesses or organizations to give VDOT input on the project.
Proposed intersection improvements will improve safety and operations in the area.
Comments about the proposed project may be submitted at the meeting or until April 28 by mailing them to Anthony Haverly, project manager, Virginia Department of Transportation, 2430 Pine Forest Drive, Colonial Heights, VA 23834-9002. Comments can also be emailed to [email protected]. Please reference “Fairground Road Improvements in Goochland” in the subject line.
