UPDATE (10/18/2023): The closure of the Ramp from I-66 West to Route 234 Business (Sudley Road) South has been rescheduled to tomorrow night, Thursday, October 18. See below for details.

UPDATE (10/17/2023): The Ramp from I-66 West to I-495 South will also be closed tonight, Tuesday, October 17, for pipe repair. See below for details.

FAIRFAX – Temporary ramp closures are scheduled to occur during the overnight hours at the following I-66 interchanges as part of the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.

Tuesday night, October 17, and Wednesday night, October 18
Ramp from I-66 East to I-495 North  
The ramp will be closed both nights from midnight to 4 a.m. for punch list work. Traffic will be directed to I-495 South, take the exit to Route 50 (Arlington Boulevard) East, stay to the right to Fairview Park, take the left fork to Fairview Park North, bear left at the traffic signal, then stay to the right following signs to I-495 North.

Wednesday night, October 18
Ramp from I-66 West to Route 234 Business (Sudley Road) South
The ramp will be closed from midnight to 4 a.m. for punch list work. Traffic will be directed to Route 234 Business North, turn right at the traffic signal onto Battleview Parkway, turn right onto Infantry Ridge Road, make a left turn onto Battleview Parkway, then make a left at the traffic signal onto Route 234 Business South.

Wednesday, October 18
Ramp from I-66 East to Route 286 (Fairfax County Parkway) North
The ramp will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for sign installation. Traffic will be directed to continue farther east to Route 50 West, stay to the right to I-66 West, then follow signs to Route 286 North. 

Thursday, October 19
I-66 West C-D Lane at Route 286
Ramps from I-66 West to Route 286 North and South
Ramp from Route 286 North to I-66 West
The Collector-Distributor Lane and the ramps will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for overhead sign work Traffic on I-66 West will be directed to continue farther west to Route 28 South, stay right to the ramp to I-66 East, then follow signs to Route 286 South or North.

Traffic on Route 286 North will be directed farther north to Fair Lakes Parkway. Stay left on the ramp and turn left at the traffic signal onto Fair Lakes Parkway West, then turn left at the traffic signal to the Route 286 South ramp and follow signs to I-66 West.

Thursday night, October 19, and Friday night, October 20
Ramp from I-66 West to I-495 South
The ramp will be closed both nights from midnight to 4 a.m. for drainage work. Traffic will be directed to continue farther west to Nutley Street, stay to the left on the ramp and follow the roundabout onto Nutley Street South, stay right to I-66 East, then follow signs to I-495 South.

Thursday night, October 19 (tentative)
Ramp from I-495 North to I-66 West
The ramp will be closed from midnight to 4 a.m. for punch list work. Traffic will be directed to continue north to Route 7 (Leesburg Pike) West, stay to the right to I-495 South, then follow signs to I-66 West.

Friday night, October 20
Ramp from I-66 East to Route 50 West
The ramp will be closed from midnight to 4 a.m. for utility work and punch list work. Traffic will be detoured farther east to Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road), stay to the left and turn left at the traffic signal onto Route 123 North, stay to the right to I-66 West, then follow signs to Route 50 West.
