FAIRFAX – Temporary ramp closures are scheduled to occur during the overnight hours at the following I-66 interchanges as part of the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.

Details include:

Tuesday night, February 21, and Wednesday night, February 22
Ramp from Route 234 Bypass (Prince William Parkway) to I-66 East
The ramp will be closed both nights from midnight to 4 a.m. for a traffic shift. Traffic will be detoured to I-66 West, exit to Route 29 (Lee Highway) North, turn left at the traffic signal onto Route 29 South, then stay to the right to I-66 East. 

Tuesday night, February 21, and Wednesday night, February 22
Ramp from I-66 East to I-495 North  
The ramp will be closed both nights from midnight to 4 a.m. for overhead bridge work. Traffic will be directed to I-495 South, take the exit to Route 50 (Arlington Boulevard) East, stay to the right to Fairview Park, take the left fork to Fairview Park North, bear left at the traffic signal, then stay to the right following signs to I-495 North.

Wednesday, February 22 
Ramp from I-66 West to I-495 South 
Ramp from I-66 West to 495 Express Lanes South 
The ramps will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for overhead bridge work and barrier installation. Traffic will be directed to continue farther west to Nutley Street, stay to the left on the ramp and turn left at the traffic signal onto Nutley Street South, stay right to I-66 East, then follow signs to I-495 South. 

Wednesday night, February 22, and Thursday night, February 23
Ramp from I-66 East to Route 50 West
The ramp will be closed both nights from midnight to 4 a.m. for a traffic shift. Traffic will be detoured farther east to Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road), stay to the left and turn left at the traffic signal onto Route 123 North, stay to the right to I-66 West, and then follow signs to Route 50 West.

Wednesday night, February 22, and Thursday night, February 23
Ramp from Route 50 West to I-66 West
The ramp will be closed both nights from midnight to 4 a.m. for a traffic shift. Traffic will be detoured farther west to Route 608 (West Ox Road) South, stay to the right to Route 50 East, then follow signs to I-66 West.
