MOUNT VERNON – Frye Road between Keeler Street and Steadman Street will be closed (weather permitting) Monday, March 11 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. for speed table installation, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Residents within the closure area, emergency vehicles and school buses will have access to the closed portion of Frye Road; however, they will not be able to go beyond the point of speed table installation in either direction.

Through traffic will be detoured via Frye Road, Lawrence Street and Steadman Street back to Frye Road.
