CSX TO REPAIR RAIL CROSSING ON FEDERAL DRIVE IN STAFFORD COUNTY
Through traffic will be detoured on Federal Drive near the Argyle Heights area from 6 a.m. Monday, April 6 through 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 7

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – CSX has scheduled a rail crossing repair on Federal Drive next week in Stafford County.

Route 713 (Federal Drive) will close to through traffic from 6 a.m. Monday, April 6 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7 to allow CSX crews to perform maintenance work and pave and upgrade the railroad crossing. This crossing is located at one of the entrances to the Argyle Heights area, near the intersection with Route 3.

Signs will be posted to guide motorists along the recommended detour route:

  • Route 730 (Lake Shore Drive)
  • Route 1150 (Hillside Terrace)
  • Route 606 (Ferry Road)
  • Route 3
